I Agree 100% - the classic Navitimer has arabics not batons - tho I prefer batons, I rather it had arabics & stayed true to its historic heritage.

However, it is very nice as I said before and now wonder if it's going to be reasonably priced or is it going to be silly?

Best Regards,

Enezdez

OK I'll play. I'm gonna guess that the price for the DB LE version will be around $8500 on a bracelet, MSRP. I'll wait and see what the standard Navi B01 is like, though I do love this version.

It's about time. I think this should have been released before the Chronomat B01. Either way, I'll be giving George a call to secure mine.

looks great! weird seeing the date font so small on a modern navi tho.

i hope it'll be on a regular navi bracelet and not that air racer one. i think it'll be similarly priced to the 125th navi?

Not with an in house movement - that's going to be quite a bump.

I have to say, I really like this, and each time I come back it grows on me, but I am interested in seeing the regular Chronomat in house DB that is supposed to be coming before placing a call to the AD.

Do you think it will be much different than the current Chronomat B01? Aside from some asthetic changes.

I don't know if that would change my views on putting a deposit down on the Navi DB...but I'm a Navi fan.

I assume that it will be a lot different from the Chronomat B01 - not much point in creating a 'traditional' in house Chronomat and then making it look like the contemporary one imho.

I am a Navitimer fan too, but I am not short of black dial Navitimers of various vintages.

Well I'm going to put an instant stake in the ground and say that I think this B01 Navi is FANTASTIC and total must have! :D :D :D

Words can't describe how pleased I am that it hasn't been changed substantially from the classic Navi. I don't think I could ask for anything more from this piece! I'm bowled over. I may even be able to forgive that abortion of a Blacksteel CM49.... just!

The only thing I'd even consider changing (and it's very minor and in NO WAY a showstopper), would be a black date wheel like the Chronomat B01 as I think it keeps the dial as clean and symetrical as possible. As I say it's very minor, and in no way a problem.

Batons are spot on IMO, the raised wings are a nice change, and the red chrono seconds hand is a very nice touch too.

The only thing I'm wondering is what bracelet options will be available? I really hope it won't be just the Aero Racer. A classic 7 bar Navi bracelet will be ideal IMO, or even a 22mm mesh would be OK. If it's the Aero Racer I'll be sticking with leather.

This one is an absolute MUST for me. I can't wait for it to be released! I'm seriously excited by this! :lingsrock:

Man...a lot has happened since I was on the forum this morning. I left the house disgusted with the direction that Breitling is heading...and come back to see this. This is great news, and ALMOST enough to make me forgive them for the recent red strike-out and Chrono-horrific that they are bringing to market.

I am very interested in getting this one. Like Driver said I would like to see what type of bracelet they will offer, and what the suggested retail will be.

I do have one question. Why make this a limited edition? Why not add it as a new model in the Navitimer collection?

I think we'll see the regular production of the B01 Navi very soon, albeit without the display back................................

And once again, that guy who posted about this a month or two ago and was roundly mocked turns out to be right.

I might be getting in line for one of these.

That was me who posted the news about it and yes, the mocking was there, but hey, told everyone it was true.

This is positively a home run. I wouldnt change a thing on it. Excellent. I REALLY want to buy one, but will only do it if I think it will get a lot of wrist time.Got rid of the old navi since I never wore it, so I fear this might follow suit.
