A straight cash deal seems even more odd, particullarly in this climate. Some folks at Breitling HQ are really sold on this relationship.

Or it was a multi-year deal signed some time ago when economic conditions were different.

MY Bentley dealer did offer a Breitling for Bentley GT with the purchase of a new car when we were considering.
The decision against Bentley was for other, specific reasons, but I was offered a watch. A close friend of mine did receive a watch from the same dealer when he purchased his new Bentley Flying Spur as well.

As for the design of the bezel, the knurled look is a motif found in various parts of the Bentley car including many interior appointments and I honestly think that it was very well incorporated into the B4B line to add a very unique an distinct look.

Damn son....What is it you do for a living again? Are you interested in hiring a mildly productive, mostly due to this site, accountant?

Very cool and refined bezel. It is my favorite part of the B4B line

Yeah, I just pretended I didn't read that line.

Yeah, I just pretended I didn't read that line.

What line? :?
If you or your friend needs a second mildly productive accountant, I'm your man!

All in all, I wouldn't worry about the name association. There are a ton of similar examples out there (Porsche design, Ferrari clothing and branding, etc.). If you want to get more general, a ton of people wear dive watches that never see any water. Its all in the name of fashion. If you like it, get it!

i too own a b4b motors t and i do not own a bentley. i agree with Roff on this, for me its just about the watch. the fact that it had the bentley name did nothing in my decision making. as always it just comes down to looks. and i love the look of this watch.

if you do decide to get the watch i am sure that you will be very happy. its a great piece :lingsrock:

I bought mine because I liked the watch and style. It had nothing to do with the fact I have 2 Bentley cars :nana:

I really like the Bently Flying B and I sure as heck can't afford a Bently....actually considering one them as my next addition just to break the monotony of all the round watches ya know  On the other hand speaking of branding...wonder if they would pair up with Harley :cheer: Now there is a branded pair I could get in to and I already own a Harley :nana: Hmm a black dial with orange subs...muhahaha!

HONESTLY? I think you are a BIGGER tool if you own the matching car and watch. its worse!

I agree. I'd never buy a B4B. It seems annoying to just say, "oh yea.. I do have a bentley, but the car is home" (on gran turismo). Theres plenty other watches from breitling that dont just say bentley on them.

Umm, I'm confused now. I was just joking, if you can afford a Bentley then more power to you (or him, whatever). Anyway.....

I dont see the problem. I mean, how many that wears a Rolex submariner is actually qualified for submarine duty.

If you like the watch, go for it!

:yeahthat

And how many divers watches have only been to the bottom of a swimming pool, I will never use my Navi to calculate fuel consumption as I fly solo around the world.

If you like the B4B and you can afford it............buy it. :lingsrock:

What I think is interesting, is that it doesn't matter what subject we are discussing, there are always VERY passionate opinions to both sides!

I personally like the design of the B4B line and wear them because of that. I love watches and I love cars, and enjoy collecting both... But for me, I don't buy my watches or my cars to match each other. Some people do and more power to them for it!
