Very nice. Congratuations!

It's interesting to see how well the levels/textures on the dial go together. The play between the textured patterns and the multi-leveled dial makes the dial look 3-D even in pictures!

I tried one of these on yesterday actually. Stunning watch in person - i've always really wanted to check one out.

Congratulations Tom, very very nice. Looks great on your wrist for the size too. Fantastic value for money; seems a very high quality piece indeed.

Nice piece - congrats!

So which one is next - the Portuguese or the JLC? :poke:

There's an IWC dive watch that's tugging at my heart.

I’ve recently added the closed end OEM strap to this watch, but in taking the bracelet off I became enamored with the fluted edging between the lugs. Why cover that up?? Mind you the OEM strap is one of the most nicely done I’ve seen. Probably the nicest. But the closed ends are a bit problematic for frequent changing between strap and bracelet. And the bracelet is yet my preferred look.

I’m having a chocolate brown alligator strap made that will have matching stitching and rolled edges. I’m toying with having little padding. Will use the Breguet OEM deployment clasp.

As just a hint – here are a couple pics showing why I’d like to show the entire case. Obviously theses are on a Breitling croco, but you get the basic idea.

What do you think? Feel free to be brutal.
