I change my mind daily on which watch I want, literally. Please help me decide and vote!

Keep in mind 3 things,

a) I have a larger wrist and frame so the watch needs to suit me (6"2, 275lbs, 7.5" wrist)
b) I'll be wearing this watch on my wedding day next year so it needs to be somewhat dressy
c) It will be my only "expensive" watch so I'd like to have the option of dressing it up or down (with a suit at a wedding or on the weekend at a bar w/ jeans and a golf tee)

Money is not really an issue, I have around $5k, anything left over is nice, but I don't mind spending the full amount either. I was originally set on a Navitimer World, but can't find a black dial in stock anywhere. I tried on a silver/white dial today and it felt great but I couldn't really picture what the black would look like in person. I also tried on a Montbrilliant Legende w/ black dial, I found the dial had more of a matte worn looking vintage look and feel. I was told the black dial World has a nicer not so matte finish. I also tried on a Superocean Heritage 46 in green (limited edition I believe) and fell a bit in love. The mesh bracelet looks and feels amazing, I think it would look great with a suit. I've never tried on the chrono version and was wondering if it would make it look less dressy then the simpler heritage 46. Also the 46 in black would be about $2400 less then the Navi World. Please help me with my decision! Your votes are greatly appreciated.

Rocky

Out of your choices I like the Navi World the best. It's big enough to suite you and can be dressed up or down. For another $125 or so you can get a black or brown calf strap to wear with jeans if the bracelet is too shiny when not in a suite. The only knock on the Navi is that the water resistance leaves a little to be desired for, but if you want to wear a watch while swimming you could just get a G-Shock for $100. As I've said in another thread recently, the Navi World is one of the most classic looking Breitlings in my opinion and would be a great choice, but your best bet will be to try on as many as you can and get the one that makes you happy. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

I'm thinking you might get quite a few SA votes, so I didn't just because at 48mm it's of my radar charts (not yours, but it's all about me!).

The Legend is limited as your only nice watch since the bracelet is integrated (you can't put a leather strap on it).

I love the SOHC and SOH46 but not so sure about either as you only dressy and casual watch. If you do - I would go non-chrono. And though I have and love the green bezel SOHC, as your only watch - nah, not with a green bezel.

The World wins IMO. Good size at 46 mm, all the dials on that watch are stunners, and it has the option for being alternated on a leather (perferably croco) strap.

Yep - the World.

Thank you for letting me be of service.

Thanks for the votes and opinions so far guys! @ sharkman, I tried on a green soh but if I were to choose that specific model I would go with black dial/bezel.

And that would give you 3 distinct looks - Ocean Classic mesh, rubber (DPII or OR on deployment), and leather.

If you are looking for something that goes equally well with suit and jeans, then non-chrono Heritage IMO is better choice - if you decide on the Heritage.

based on your size and what you want from this watch....the super avenger white.....

also, it´s a very versatile watch. it´s gonna be your comapnion for every time! put a brown (gold) croc on and you´re set!

cheers!

For me it is an easy decision for the models that you have listed. I would pick the Navi World UNLESS the WR is a concern for you. If you need a watch that you can wear in the water then I would go with the SOH.

I say go with your gut ,and get the Navi World, you aren't getting married til next year so you should be able to order one in time. The other watches are nice , but It's not your first choice.

What about picking up a used b4b mark vi? Should be right around your price range.
