Hi Guys, Im new to this forum and new to Breitling but Im a huge fan of both.

Have a pricing question for you guys,

Been calling all over the country to locate best price on a SA Diamond Bezel. I live in FL
Best price I found on the one I want, A Super Avenger Black with White Subdials and Diamond Bezel BRAND NEW from a AD
is $8200.00 Plus tax, which is 20% off the 10,250 Breitling Retail.

Question
1. Do you think $8200.00 is a good price for this watch and worth sealing the deal from an AD?

I dont think ADs will give more than 25% off the super avenger with DB, because SA in itself is very high in demand
there is a 4-5 month waiting period to get one from Breitling. But it seems that Breitling is stocked up on the DIAMOND bezels ones, which is why i think they lowered their retail from 13,000 to 10250 to their ADs

but these ADs arent budging, I tried offering Cash, they said that might save 1% but thats all
what you think?

Honestly I have absolutely no idea what a good discount on anything with a diamond bezel is. I wouldn't be surprised if the discount was less because of the diamonds. A regular Breitling I think 25-27% is a pretty good discount. I'm sure there are AD's out there that give 30% but I don't know where.

As far as not a lot of interest in diamond bezel, in my opinion a diamond bezel has no place on a "tool" watch like the SA. It's supposed to be a rugged type of watch and diamonds don't fit on it to me. Now a chronomat is a different story, diamonds look pretty good on those to me. JMHO

Either white or black dial are worth to me personally absolutely nothing.

It degrades the watch in my opinion.

He means dial color means nothing because the diamond bezel kills it. Honestly, you won't find many (if any) members here that are fans of the diamond bezel. I think Breitlings have enough style and pizzazz and the diamonds overdo it by saying "hey look at me hey look at me". But people otu there do like them or else they wouldn't make them so to each his/her own.

If I were you, I would just buy a regular SA and buy an aftermarket diamond bezel. You can probably even get one custom made with much higher quality diamonds or gems of your choosing for a cheaper price. Sorry I have no input on price but if you can dish out $8k on a watch, then I wouldn't worry about saving a few hundred dollars. And yes I know there are many stingy wealthy people out there, but they wouldn't be buying an $8k Breitling in the first place.
