My Navitimer World is keeping time but the second hand is not moving. What could be wrong with it? Thanks in advance

Are you sure you are looking at the correct hand, the large second hand is for the chronograph (stopwatch) function only and will only move when you start the chrono, the running seconds hand is located on the 9 o'clock subdial and will be the one that moves all the time (as ong as the watch is wound that is).

The right way to wind it is clockwise, you don't have to pull the crown out, if you wind it the wrong way you will just hear a clicking noise, also in case you forgot, pulling the crown out to the 1st position and turning CCW sets the GMT hand (the large red tipped one), turning CW is for the quick set date function, crown out to the 2nd position sets the time.

Also, remember not to use the quick set date between the hours of 8pm and 3am or you will damage the mechanism, I always set mine to 6:30 before I set the date that way you will always be OK
