Thanks for all the excellent info you are helping me with... What size would I need? I wasn't aware there would be noticable differences..

Couldn't tell you without seeing the watch - you need outside dimensions, inside / crown stem dimensions and tap.

Hi Guy's,

You were dead on right! Today I brought the watch to my watchmaker, opened the back and this is what we found. We were both surprised at the great condition. I also had a chance to get the serial number and found out that it is from 1966, just as you assumed.. You guys are good. Now all I need to do is find an original crown and I will be a happy camper... Thanks for all your expertise..

Regards,
Thomas
