I want one of each of the Omegas that you have. I wish that I saw the Great White that was for sale recently, I love that watch. I also want to pick up a "Moon Watch", very cool and I was pretty impressed with it when I saw it in person. Those and a 312 and I'll be set

The orange bezel looks better in person, but still not for me.

Another vote for orange numbers and black bezel, that's what my PO has. Sometimes I wish I had the orange bezel, but I suspect the feeling would be more frequent if it were the other way around.

Hey sharkman, have you tried the rubber dive strap? I like it even more than the black rubber with orange stitching. The thickness of it and the curved ends suit the size of the head so well. No deployant though.

By the way, I have a boring conference call later today, but I can't draw to save my life. Maybe I should ask you to draw a picture for me to put on my file?

Otto, haven't tried the rubber tang, but really like that thin contrast stitched rubber on the deploy. Most comfortable yet.

Speaking of the P.O., I just got a bracelet delivered for it today, sized it up, put it on, and Sheeesh - the 45.5 suddenly LOOKS 45.5. Consider the bracelet if you don't have one.

The orange bezel is more palatable for me in person, but I keep thinking I would be limited in wearing opportunities. I like to be able to wear most anything I get, with a couple exceptions, with a T-shirt and jeans or a suit. I can even get away with a DPII and a suit - look around and see how many people are wearing a suit and a watch with a simple rubber strap. Then again, Phoenix may be different than, say, Manhatten.

Thinking count down to Type XXI is about T minus 3 weeks. And then I DONE. :cheer:

Yep, I've got all 3 - bracelet, rubber deployant, and rubber tang. It certainly looks a lot bigger on the bracelet, but it doesn't suit the shape of my wrist so well. Happy with it on the dive strap at the moment, but it's definitely a weekend watch in that configuration.

I wore a DPII with my SOH in court a few times (no, I wasn't the defendant  ). But what would I know, I've always worn dive watches with suits. One day I was sitting in court next to an $8,000-a-day barrister and I noticed he was wearing a plastic digital Casio.

Off-Topic but what the hell is a barrister?

Sorry sharky, back to you.
Oh, and don't tell us you'll be done, you don't have a PAM yet?

Ah, thanks. Cheap bastard needs a new watch, maybe you should let him win so he can get paid.

He'd better win, he's on my side and it's a big case! We haven't got the decision yet.

OK, I've thoroughly hijacked this thread now, but perhaps I've maintained some of the original spirit of boring legal stuff.

Well good luck then, unless your client is the bad guy.
