Hi all,

Just bought my first Breitling - a black faced Cockpit with SS bracelet. Now face a week of waiting for the retailer to get it (they only had the blue face in stock).

A friendly welcome from one canuck to another. I'm also in your shoes... waiting for my Chrono Avenger blue dial to come in.... It will take approx 2 to 2.5 weeks.

Nice Choice Andy! I have one in the slate grey Dial... absolutely beautiful. Its one of the less popular models, but I think perhaps underrated. Its the perfect combination of sport and gents... as gent as a Ling can and should get!

Well, am I happy - got a call from the retailer to say that their computer was wrong and that one of the Cockpit's they had was in fact black, so I am wearing it as I type :-) :D

Breitlingsource, I considered the grey, in fact that was my choice at the start of the process, but just couldn't get past the contrast of the black against the SS. It's definitely the right model for what I need - I'm a British expat running my own consulting business so need something that fits that image, while at the same time allows me to show a bit of personality and not just be seen as a 'boring suit'.

Of course I haven't yet told the wife that this is only the first Ling :lol:

This is pretty funny - Andy meet Nelson. Nelson this is Andy. Where's Roadcarver?

So since Roff never sells a watch we know somewhere in that secretive collection is a black dial Cockpit, not unlike the one presently on my wrist. :lingsrock:
