The Yachtmaster II is the same diameter as they Deepsea - both are 44mm.

I thought the Deepsea was 43mm, at least nominally?

Rolex's recent trend following case sizes:

Deep Sea = 44mm (up from 40mm)
Yachtmaster II = 44mm (up from 40mm)
Day Date II = 41mm (up from 36mm)
Explorer = 39mm (up from 36mm)

Hey Otto - 43mm seems to be a popular misconception with the Deepsea. The current Rolex catalogue lists it as 44mm in diameter.

(Incidentally it also list the YM II as 44mm as well).

Rolex designs tend to evolve at a pace that makes tectonic plate movement look like lightspeed. Most hardcore Rolex fans still can't get to grips with the concept of a 44mm Rolex, so a 46mm+ model just ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

No, more like 15mm. That's what the Deep sea does. From 24 all the waaaay down to 15.

I was at the AD the other day and saw a Yachmaster. I commented it must be at least 43mm and the salesperson said - "oh no - 40. just looks bigger." Gaw.
