Do they still make the BREITLING rubber straps w/ tang?

I only ask because I know that they no longer make them for the 22mm lugs so I didn't know the story for ordering them with the SA's with the 24mm lugs?

Anyone? Plus what are the price for them?

Breitling no longer produce the Pro Diver 1 (the one with the Breitling logo in large letters), though they can still be found if you can find an AD with some old stock. Or there are listings for both Black and Blue 22mm, and a Blue 24mm Pro Diver strap on the 'bay at the moment. (Search Breitling, Rubber, Pro Diver). It's a reputable seller - me. Shameless advertising, sorry...

The Pro Diver II, the plainer version, is still in production, and most AD's will have them in 22 and 24 versions. I'm not sure of current prices.

Hope this helps!

Mike

About $100 for the strap, plus buckle

I emailed BUSA about 2 months ago and they told me that the DP I is still being produced. I told them that my AD said it was discontinued and they asked meto give them the name of the AD so they could call them and tell them that the DP I is in fact still an active strap.

I spoke to my (authorized Breitling) watchmaker and he said that they did discontinue it but as they got so many requests from customers they decided to start producing it again. Don't know if it's true but my watchmaker (personal friend) usually never tell me stuff unless he has heard it from a "good source".

That might make sense - the strap was definitely discontinued after Basel (when DP II was announced), but if BUSA are now saying that it's available for order then they must have started production up again.
