I know that there was some interest in Louis Moinet when I was looking so just wanted to let people know........

There has been a change in Louis Moinet North America - the parent company is moving to another distributor so the current LM NA distributor is selling off all inventory at 50% off. Their website is www.lmtime.com, they don't show what's in stock but you can either contact them through there or if that doesn't work then let me know and I'll hook you up with them.

No affiliation with them, just though that there might be interest.

Agreed, I love the rose gold, titanium and steel one with the black dial. Unfortunately I had to buy a new car today so not the best timing.

Well Roff, can't wait to see what you have to say about the idea of cycling your commute!

Great heads-up on some beautiful watches though.

Yeah, don't think that I'm going to try that one.

(For those that aren't aware I live a little over 150km / 94 miles from my office)

 Yeah, followed by 2 days of guzzling anti-inflammatories and barely being able to eat!

Not quite back on topic, but how are you enjoying your LM after a few months with it, Roff?

I still love it.

It's still my 'go to' dress watch most of the time (even though it is large), and I stand by my post a while back in the 'if you could only have one watch' thread that it would be the LM from my current collection. It gets some great comments from people too.

I'm thinking about an ABP strap for it - the OEM croc is very nice, but I think that something like a hornback would stand out a little more - the OEM strap is starting to look a little overwhelmed by the large (and thick) case.

Good to hear, it is a stunning watch. A custom strap sounds like a great idea, a watch like that is just begging for one.

These watches look amazing!!! I am sure they are out of my price range, even with a 50% discount. I bet the cheapest one is probably 8 to 10k with the discount:)

Prices are on the site - just click on the Details tab.

Prices aren't what you think (at least for all of them) because many use modified ETA / Valjoux movements.

Pre discount prices for example:

Twintech Chrono - $9,900
Artemis - $9,500
Duograph - $9,600
Montecristo - $9,900
Spiroscope - $6,900
Chronovintage - $9,900
Datoscope - $6,900

The others are over $10k pre discount.

I just saw the prices on the ones I like , lets just say I would have to sell one of my kidneys ,and still might not have enough. The tempograph is amazing!!!
