Which version of the Aerospace are you comparing to the B1? Oh nevermind. It doesn't matter. The correct answer is Aerospace.

And the winner is - BNIB BI , blue dial. New battery as of today. 2 year BUSA warranty. What are the odds of finding a new B1?

Liked Aerospace nut couldn't get by the titanium.

Things always work out.

Dude - I never know what's coming. More fun that way.

OK, isn’t it nice when you have the right watch? As in – “Uhmmmm, no doubt this is it.” This is the one for my quartz foray. I’ve admired the B1 for a while, but wasn’t up for buying a second hand quartz. Don’t ask me why – it’s how my mind works. More functions than the Aerospace and you guys are right – easier to use on the wrist too. The dial has more panache. The LCDs are more legible in low light. The functions are easier to use on the wrist. And bigger and blingier never offended me.

The fighter bracelet is very cool and beefy. The bias cut links and clasp and the center brushed links make for a new Breitling bracelet for me.

This one was “possessed” unsued in the box for nearly 2 years by a guy who owns several car dealerships . I had to remove the plastic from the bracelet.(life's a bitch) AD put new battery in and I get a discontinued watch, factory new, and a 2 year warranty to boot. Man this reminds me of the day I found that Omega GMT “Great White” sitting in the new watch display.

To my surprise, I don’t mind the “ticking” center second hand. There is enough going on with the dial - the second hand is not what the eye is drawn to.

Beautiful blue dial Shark...you made the right decision. Something really cool about getting a discontinued watch that is still "new" that makes it feel like you stole something...right?

By the way...your signature needs an update :poke: .

Wow! Shark, congrats on a RARE find. You just don't get those anymore. Wear it in good health, you will love it. And if the ticking second hand does bother you, simply scrolling the crown to the chrono feature will stop it. :lingsrock:

Congrats!

Don

Thanks! The only "defect" here is the minute hand 1/2 minute click is one click behind the center second hand and the digital time. Must be some way to sync it but so far have only been able to do it by one full minute on the minute hand.

Hands down...Aerospace. Practically speaking, it has all the same functions, but in a much more simple and elegant package...and the battery lasts an extra year, and it's waterproof to 100m.

Congrats! The blue dial looks great in your first pic.

But I'm still an Aero guy.

3 gorgeous watches ffeelliixx (seeing your screen name makes me feel as though I need to cover one eye to drive!).

Yes Driver - for me it was the right choice. I've become a fan of the discontinued fighter bracelet.

I know in the manual it explains how to synchronize them. The analog minute hand will jump half a click when it rounds the 30 second mark every minute. Make sense, or have I had one too many rum and cokes today? :drunk:
