I recently visited NY last week and picked up a fake Model T with white face for 65.00.. I have to say for being fake the watch feels pretty solid and not cheap looking by any means.. My only complaint is that the speed band is very hard to open and close.. Is this normal for a fake or a real Ling? I will have a real one one of these days but for now this will do..

This came from Canal street.. I'll take some pics after the weekend..

I too got my first Breitling on Canal St back in 2001. A data-back Chronomat with a slide rule bezel

The urge to get a gen will grow and grow until you simply have to get one.

I'll give it 12 months before you get a real one - which is about as long as the fake is likely to last!

Thanks sharkmouth, i visited your site before i joined 2 weeks ago looking at your pics to find the flaws.. I can't find any that you describe except maybe the strap.. Its really hard to open and close.. I'm sure a real one is much easier.. i also read that you did get your fake from NY.. to funny..
