Hey guys:

I have been in the forum for a little while now, but read more than I chat. I have a B2 with a stainless steel fighter bracelet, but am getting tired of it scratching so easily. Are there replacement croc, leather, etc bands out there that you think would look good with a B2 with white face? I've seen people switch out the bracelets to bands on here before, but what do you think would look good with a B2 with white face? I'm looking to buy 2 bands right away so I can change the look of my watch. Any insight on bracelet replacement, which bands to potentially buy, or if you'd just like to call me a jerk...that's cool too

Thanks guys!
roenick

White is flexible enough to go with any of the traditional colours - certainly black or any of the browns, and no reason why it wouldn't work with others as well - blue springs to mind. Go to an AD with a decent inventory and they should be prepared to help you look at the different options using their pieces (at least holding them up to hte lugs if not swapping them all out).

I have seen the video on how to change straps, posted on youtube from breitlingsource. Where could I buy a kit, or set of tools that would allow me to take the band off my watch? I would imagine the tools would be no more than $150, and the straps would run around the hundred dollar marker per strap (depending on what i'm looking at). Do you have any suggestions, or any positive feedback from other people who have changed their straps out?? what are some of the companies I should take a look at in your opinions?? would i need new spring bars for the bands in order for them to be installed, or is this something that i need to buy separately? any further advice would be much obliged....thanks!

Breitling straps are rather more than that - especially croc - http://www.breitlingsource.com/pricelis ... rdering=id

You will need different springbars for straps than bracelet, but you can use the same springbars for all straps unless you go aftermarket and the maker uses unusual diameters for their springbar holes.

You need a Bergeon 6767F to change the strap, global recommended source is www.watchtool.co.uk - rather less than $150

AWESOME INFO! I appreciate the help Roff! I am leaning toward an aftermarket strap at this point. Hopefully these strap makers will provide me with spring bars if necessary... I will also be ordering the tool needed to remove the OEM bracelet. I will post pictures of the changes made shortly! :D

I just ordered the Breit. OEM brown leather strap for my all white dial B2, should recieve it this week and will post pics as soon as I can. I think most brown colors will look good with the white dial. If you have the newer dial with the gray sub-dials then a black strap should look good also IMO.
Good luck!

The pics look great! I ordered two custom straps for my watch. I ordered a black croc with black stitching and a brown croc with stitching like yours. I quite a bit of research on straps and responses from people who have ordered them. I will attempt to take some pictures as soon as I get a decent camera. I could probably get better picture quality with a box of crayons and some construction paper than with the POS i have now....updates soon....

hey man.. this thread inspired me to make a change with my B2 as well :D

Since first seeing the original Diver Pro (which I think many people refer to as "Hershey") I knew I would like to have it on one of my Bs someday. That day has come!

My wife wasn't particularly pleased with the change, thinking it made the watch look "too low key" but I am happy as now the B2 can be my "beater" and is much more versatile.

roenick,

I ordered my bergeon 6767F tool from here- http://mywatchmaker.net/watchmakertools.htm It was better for me since it took 1 day shipping since they are in LA too, and I'm in socal, and i wasnt sure how long shipping from UK. :D

Just resurrecting this thread as I want to change the fighter bracelet for a leather one.

Already ordered the 6767F tool.

Anymore pictures of a B2 with a leatherstrap ?
