After months of searching and several trips to my AD, I finally came to the realization that I wanted to sell my Colt Auto and get into an Avenger Skyland. I saw an add posted on WUS and contact the seller. The transaction was very smooth and had zero problems. GREAT SELLER! After a few days the watch was delivered and on my wrist. It came with the brown leather strap but I stopped by my AD on the way home and bought a new Pro II bracelet. MY AD offer free lifetime polishings! :D

Loving the watch but need to get used to the weight. Compared to my Colt, this thing feels like a wrist anchor.

You'll be used to the weight within a couple days. Then put on your Colt!! Ha!

Congrats on a nice watch and good call on the Pro II.

Great pics, and the Pro II really sets it off, congratulations.

Congrats on the AS. Good call on the Pro II. Personally I dont feel that a brown strap on a black dialed watch works. The watch looks outstanding on a black DPII with deployant or black stitched leather. I am partial to bracelets overall and think the AS looks great on the PRO II

I'm thinking that one is the blue dial AS, not black. OP enlighten us.

I have to respectfully disagree about brown straps not working with black dials. Brown croco or alligator on black dial watches are stalwarts of most brands, from Patek on down.

Love my AS on Pro II, but wear it the mostly as so -

Now I don't favor brown straps on blue dial watches which is what I believe the OP's pics show.

I definitely agree shark. I love the look of a Black dial and a brown strap. That Avenger looks outstanding on the brown croc.

To the OP, great looking watch, I think a blue dial looks much better on the PROII than the brown calf. A DPII would also look amazing.

There's my skyland!! Looks beautiful Tom, brand new!! And looks stunning on that brown croc strap.

I think the original Poster's AS is black isn't it? I like the look of black dials on brown crocs.

Where is the OP when ya need him!! I know about the AR effect on balck dials, but the OP's pics all look consistently very blue - right down to the rehaut. My money is on blue.

True, there are examples, but I wouldn't agree that they are a stalwart of most brands. But as always as long as you like it that's what counts :) respectfully, my 2 cents.

True dat! :) I have a bias against black straps to some degree. Though I am tending to add them more and more.

I hate brown straps on black dials. Love brown and navy together though. Just my 2 cents.
