As many on here know I love Rolex, I too have a vintage Red Submariner and love it to bits. It is worn more than all my other watches including my Daytona

I now have it on the correct bracelet

I love a bit of WABI on it so when it was sent for it's service only got a movement one done and instructed them not to polish the case because of this.

Enjoy your watch

Mart

Wow Mart. That is beautiful. One of my other grails for sure. Unfortunately, due to the "Red" Sub only being available from 1969 to 1974 this is most other collectors grails as well which makes prices a little crazy for me.

I was also not aware of the WABI acronym, but I shall use it from now on as I also like that look.

This vintage Rolex bug is dangerous, I traded my Daytona against a 1971 5512  Obviously I had cash as well but I really like the vintage patina on these old Subbys 8)

Pictures will be up shortly

Here are a few (very) quick and dirty wrist shots of my 1964 Sub on a new NATO strap I just bought for a whopping $15.

Looks quite good I reckon and it will stop me from damaging the immaculate original bracelet.

Any thoughts and comments are welcome as always.

Better (much better) pics to follow.

I'm generally not a fan of the NATO strap, but I think it works well on this one. I also like the idea of using it to keeping the original bracelet nice.

The Bond NATO always looks good on a vintage Sub, I think.
