IDK, when I look into the dial of a FFs, it's like that Nazi archeologist gazing into the Lost Ark. 'It's beautifuuuuuuul."

Yes, thank you. Kindly refrain from hijacking a thread I spent hours researching and writting :poke:

I wouldnt consider it hijacking. We were debating about the historical value of the FF and other pieces. It is afterall an open forum.

Nice. I really like the kevlar strap too. And you were right, they wear smaller the 45+MM. A very nice size/fit.

A superb historical review. Those are always my favorite. I love the water shots you just posted.

Brilliant review and brilliant pictures of a brilliant watch.

Many Thanks for sharing.

I was initially dubious about this remake of the FF when it was first announced about 4 years ago. The price seemed to be extortianate.

However, I have since had the pleasure of trying this watch on and I wanted one very badly. I still do. The quality of the finish and the choice of materials is a reflection of the very high end of watchmaking that Blancpain aspire to.

I also love the history of a watch. I have bought books on Rolex, Paneria and my Plo Prof and read them cover to cover. It's satisfying to know that a watch has been used by professionals in demanding conditions. SHould I ever need to do the same ;o)

Thanks again Altair. I really enjoyed the read and the awesome pictures.
