Lol this is funny!

Being from the burbs of Philly I travel to the "Jersey Shore" every weekend every weekend to my family's shore house. As much as I really do find this show entertaining. I must say that I am a little upset about the stereotyping that has came from this show. This show is filmed about 30 miles north of Atlantic City. Being that the "Jersey Shore" runs over 100 miles north and south you will find much more "classy" shore points within those 100 miles. Seaside Heights is Ghetto Trash and is your cheapest shore point, hence that is why you see millions of :guns: young drunk kids everywhere. Travel about an hour south of that and you will find places like Stone Harbor and Avalon which are the classiest/luxurious/wealthy shore points. These places are on the "Top 30"(or maybe even less) wealthiest places to live in the US. I read an article in Forbes Mag awhile back and I believe it was even Top 20 , can't remember though. For dam sakes Oprah had a house there along with many other celebrities being that my next door neighbor is one of them.

I love the pic with Pauly "D" but I hate the stereotypes that have came from this. :D :cry:

This is funny. I'm a Cape May local and while the summer residents are more family oriented here I def. can relate to the messes that come down and bring havoc to the small shore towns. It's all in good fun and we wouldn't survive the winter without their financial contribution to the comunity.

I admit I watch the show. It's a guilty little pleasure that I'm not afraid to admit.

Yes I think I have seen a couple of the cast members on talk shows etc sporting Breitlings.

Being from Jersey, we're almost required to watch this show. Along with the Sopranos, and listening to Bon Jovi. Not a Bruce fan but him too. Some of the guys on this show are very funny, how can you not like The Situation?

True, but nothing else is "real" about them, so why start with the watches?

Watching the show would simply encourage me to take a roadtrip with a baseball bat in the backseat to visit these clowns. But, I did see that Snooki was arrested recently. :popo:
