i generally like the PR on the front...but unlike driver when i had the 233 i hated the straight PR fang. i prefer panerai put the PR on the back (and while we're at it no more cyclops...2 things that killed the 268).

I actually really like the cyclops on PAM's LOL

I really like the straight PR indicators on the original Manifattura models (the 270, 233, etc), but I've also grown to just love the simplicity of the 312 and 320. The 321 does indeed look a little cluttered to me.

The only Panerai I can think of with a PR indicator on the back behind the DB is the pretty rare JLC powered PAM 190. Very cool watch that.

I hate the straight PR indicators. To each their own. Do you have a link to the PAM 190? Nevermind..Found a pic.

I think they look great. I think the 233 is arguably the nicest pam out there.

"I'm all for the PRI on the front" - I say as I look down at my wrist and check my reserve! (PAM 90 on today!)

I can't stand Panerai's that don't have at least one sub-dial (second hand) on the front and the PRI just looks so cool!

I agree on the second hand subdial. Just not the PR indicator.

Normally I like the look of a PRI on the dial, but for some reason it doesn't look quite right to me on the 321. To me the 312 and 320 look better.

Having said that, I'm not sure the PRI on the back of the 320 (which is non-linear by the way) would be all that useful. Once the novelty factor has worn off, it would be as if it wasn't there. So if you really want a PRI maybe the 321 is a better option. Or a 233, or a 270... 8)

So I went in and looked at the 320 - stunning with the dark brown strap. It was hard to put it down, but the 321 is extremely difficult to come by and they're expecting limited production. They're thinking it will be more difficult to come by than the 320 - so I'll hold out for it...........because my 359 is to arrive on Saturday :) Sorry - I said 358 earlier - but I meant the 359 - pic of the 359 is here - http://www.worldwatchreview.com/wp-cont ... -watch.jpg

So the 359 will keep me happy until the 321 comes in.....my, my.....what an expensive fetish :D

Thank goodness I have a very understand wife....but I think I'm done for awhile!
