The Blackbird Limited Edition has red accents on the dial, I will get a picture uploaded onto the site (and I know what you mean about the price of the Blackbird).
The Chronomat will begin to be phased out in 2011 and the Breitling B01 will have a name change to Chronomat 01.

Lots of name changes within Windrider family - Cockpit Lady becomes Galactic 32 and the introduction of a much needed ladies automatic watch with the Galactic 36 Automatic (see attached image)

That was all announced at Basel this year.

The other ones are interesting, I've never seen a Breitling stock photo with a time other than 10:09 and a date other than 12th / 25th so the one showing the 14th and 10:06 looks odd. Looks like WUS and TZ are still missing all this.

I'm not sure I understand the logic of the in house regular chronomat - seems to detract from the B01, but will be popular among those who don't like the Galactic style bezel. DB is always good news.

Just received details of 2 new Breitling limited edition pieces to come out later in the year - the Avenger Seawolf Chrono Blacksteel.

Blacksteel models have been seen in the Blackbird and Avenger before, but here are 2 new lines - one with orange features and the other with yellow.

Limited edition of 1,000 pieces in each colour.

Any thoughts on these?

Now where have I seen this idea before... Bell & Ross instrument series, anyone? All they need now is to add red, black and phantom models.

But B&R made fewer of each colour (500 of each except orange, which was 250).

EDIT - I meant red, blue and phantom, obviously

When we first see details of a new watch to be launched (apart from at Basel) it is usually in a pdf format simply showing the watch. Advertising style images are only usually supplied later (as this GMT Blacksteel image), closer to delivery time.

There is also a new steel limited edition Blackbird coming out, and a limited edition version of the Chronomat (not B01) but which will have the B01 movement in, if that makes sense. It will have a sapphire crystal caseback.

Interesting to see what the Blackbird is about (not that it isn't expensive enough already :( )
Oh yeah, welcome to BS.com (just noticed your join date) and thanks in advance for all the new info.!

Just uploaded the new Blackbird Limited Edition image on a new topic

This one sounds the highlight to me.

Well quite.

However it just seems to me like it would be quite a odd thing for Breitling to do given their general march towards the new bezel design. I just can't see why they would put the B01 movement in the old Chronomat case. :huh Don't get me wrong, I'd absolutely love to see it happen, but I can't see Breitling's rationale for doing so given their apparent strategy elsewhere.

And as for a DB, well that would another huge departure for Breitling as they have only very VERY rarely used DBs on automatic models in the past. In fact I can only think of one full automatic with a DB off the top of my head - the super rare and super expensive G34360 Chrono Avenger Rattrapante, and that was only to show off the solid gold rotor.

This mysterious B01 equiped "non-B01 Chronomat" is one that I think we definitely need pictures of, me thinks.

Yes, The B01 movement in a Chronomat case will be in a matt steel (2000 pieces) and gold (200 pieces). Price and delivery date is TBC.

There will also be a B01 movement limited edition of the Navitimer with 2000 steel and 200 gold, again this will have a crystal caseback. Price and delivery TBC.

The details of these watches were given to me by my Breitling representative so know them to be true. I was as surprised as you when he said an exhibition caseback, can't wait to see it, will be a sure seller.

Any thoughts on the size yet? Traditional Navitimer Design or Navitimer World? Would love to see B01 in a 46mm Navitimer.

I like both particulalry the Yellow. There are now a lot of Blacksteel options available and I am hoping that Breitling will give more choice to their Blacksteel customers and give us more options such as a Blacksteel Bracelet for starters. 8)

Good call on the B&R reference. I'm skeptical on this as well. I put a call into George to see if they've heard anything and he's looking into it. I'll let everyone know once I find something out.
