Another Speedmaster first - AD is offering huge discounts to clear the decks for IWC AND B&R. Then either a Fifty Fathoms Flyback or IWC white dial/blue hands Portuguese 7 Day. I am torn......simply torn.

Yeah, that blue handed portuguese sure is nice. I have to run out of the store and splash some cold water on my brain every time I see it. But then again, why would a 52 year old retired guy like myself need a fancy dress watch? No where to wear it!

Why??? Because it's there.

I love the white/blue IWC 7 Day Auto. It's too bad it doesn't actually tell time!

I also like the 41mm white UN Marine Chronometer

I'm very interested in getting a flieger style watch for the next purchase. I've been hunting a few. A member posted a non-logo Stowa COSC on here some time ago and I've been saving since to get something very similar.

Any suggestions from the group for good flieger stlye watches?

More long term I have aspirations for a Navitimer World, white face with brown croco strap.

True, they probably weren't the most practical suggestions in the circumstances.

Ha! All suggestions are welcome - I've handled all but the BP from IWC and they are amazing pieces. I've just decided to make a medium "beater" purchase then the next Big One is the World. Maybe then I'll upgrade to the IWC
