Great choice....the World is a terrific looking watch!! Congrats. There's no comparison between the two watches in my opinion.

Thanks a lot!

Yeah it's an amazing watch, and I got a great deal on it. Also managed to get the gold leather strap.

Definitely better looking and classier than the emergency IMHO.

A great classic and stangely enough I also had to make a choice between a Navitimer and a Emergency. Since I allready once owned a Cosmonaut and found the Emergency so different I went with that one.

Not big into bright dials, orange, yellow, red etc however if I ever got an emergency it would be yellow or orange!!

Gotta say..this UTC (Second clock) looks much nicer than the copilot IMHO.....beautiful color also....

Another thing I really like about the Emergencies is the lack of a second hand.
It's just such an incredibly easy to read dial and totally uncluttered (even having twin LCDs)...
I just love that coral one - it's getting me going again...
