Looking to purchase a Breitling on the board from a seller in the UK, trying to find the safest (insured) route to get it here. Any advice would help, this would be my first time purchasing a watch from overseas.

If you live in FL...as your screen name implies...I would say the best route would be across the Atlantic?? Bad joke I know. Good luck with your purchase....what are you looking at buying?

Hi Chris - Otto has pointed in the direction of my experience of sending watches abroard from the UK, and let me tell you, it's a real pain! One way round it is for you to arrange 3rd party insurance though a company at your end in the States. You apparently have companies that will insure goods in transit, whereas here in the "western third world" UK we don't.
