Hi
I have recently treaded myself to a brand new Navitimer!
I went for the "classic" black face and black strap with white stitching, and i got it from a authorised dealer that is listed on Breitlings website.

I have two questions that i would be grateful if someone could help me out please.

1) My box has small planes covering it, is this the newest style box? as the dealer told be they had only had my watch in a matter of days before i purchased it.

2) I ve seen plenty of pictures where Breitlings have a yellow tag/fob with it, should i have one with my watch?
I have all the paperwork for the watch, so was wondering if this was missing?

i look forward from hearing from you

Many Thanks

Andy

Congrats on the new Navi, Its a awesome piece! I am quite certain the box with the planes all over it is the newest style box, as for the hangtag you most definitely should of gotten it. My previous Lings all came with the watch, most are yellow but some members have gotten them in black. Wear the Navi well!!

Congradulations on the new purchase!

Regarding the box - Yes, the one with the small planes all over it is the newest box. I got one last month when I picked up my SA! :D

Regarding the hangtag - Sorry to contradict MacApple on this, but I think getting the hangtag is really something that varies by AD and their practices... I have 5 'lings now, purchased from a few different ADs and even a TZ trader, and I only have the hang-tags for 2...

In the last 2 months I purchased the B4B GMT and the SA at the same AD and I didn't get hang tags with either ... but when I got my B2 from that same dealer 7 years ago I got the tag

Enjoy the Navi! :lingsrock:

Thank you for the speedy response,

Can any one please confirm if I should have the hang tag or does it depend on the AD, as I have to contradicting answers?
I am not planning on selling this, I have the intention of passing it down, but does the hang tag add any value should it be sold?

I bought this while on holiday so if I should have one I ll need to call them up to arrange it to be posted

Many Thanks

Andy

Andy, do not worry about the hang tag.

You have a great watch, let's see some pic of it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think hangtags are specific to the watch. I'm sure that you could find one on ebay or in the sales forum on here if you really want one just to round our your set. I'm pretty sure that there was a listing for some not too long ago.

The hang tag is but a baubble, it has no impact on the resale value of the watch, identifying the watch or anything else. Frankly mine sit in the box in a closet - it's just a piece of molded plactic.

Which is greater..... Number of Michael Phelps' Gold Metals? or Number of Sharky's Yellow Breitling Tags I'm voting for Shark's Ling Tags. :lingsrock:
