No idea on price. Best place to check current asking prices is Chrono24. Remember these are asking, not selling, prices.

My view is if you're happy with what you paid, it's a good deal.

I don't know guys. This one worries me a bit. I think the 9's on the outer slide rule are wrong and the distance between the 7 and the 750 on the inner slide rule are too far apart. However, having said that, the other characteristics commonly seen on this particular fake, that being the date hand size and slide rule ticks seem to be OK. I would like to see some better pics of this one.

I just confirmed that this was a fake. I paid $3400 for it and have had for about 3 months. Took into Tourneau to have the band changed. The service manager looked at it and said "something does not seem right" He says he is 100% sure it is a fake - He opened the back and he said it is a fake. So just to be sure I took it to another retailer and he measured the watch and said it is 46 mm without the crown and they do not make the Datora in a 46 MM only in a 43 mm. Now the guy who sold to me from Ebay says it is real and he shipped me a real watch. He says he has no money and he realy thought it was real - He has sold some nice watches on Ebay and no one has complained. I even contacted some of the buyers and they said they checked theirs and they were confirmed real (Rolex - Panerai - Omega) It looks like I might not get anything back - The 45 day ebay buyer protection has passed. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

You could hire a lawyer, but that could cost more than the claim. Therefore my legal advice is to hire the guy in the light tan suit. At least you'll get some satisfation.

Thats rough. I am sorry to hear about that. Generally when dealing with internet fraud you have resources such as IC3 and other government agencies willing to aid you, but this is truly a unique situation. 3 months without noticing it was fake.. You might be out of luck.
