And I bet your wrist has had a huge variety of watches as a result. Gotta love it

The reset problem is not the only problem you will have with the Skyracer. After two warranty services performed on mine, someone from BUSA called me and said it was perfectly normal for the minute hand of the chrono to be 10 seconds late in lining up. You can see this on the current Skyracer offered for sale on this sites for sale forum. This is a sore spot with me. If they are all defective, I guess that is normal.

This is 2 sides of the same coin. If Breitling (or someone else) fixes the slight lag in the center chrono minute totalizer, then the result is the offset (minute had at 1, second hand at 59) issue. Obviously someone had been inside the used silver dial Skyracer I bought. Given the chrono minute moves smoothly throughout use of the chrono rather than clicking forward with each minute, it doesn't bug me - the watch has too much going for it. And with the naked eye it isn't really noticable unless you start obsessing about it. I typically don't check a watch for elapsed time under a loop. Though buying a 10X monocle could create an entirely knew mystique for me. Hmmmm. And a top hat. I've always admired that Monopoly fellow.

The offset hands at reset, on the other hand, is an annoying issue for me as I typically do not leave the chrono running.

So far only my Skyracer Raven hasn't developed the "lag," but I imagine it's 50/50 it will. I won't lose any sleep or kick the dog over it. I simply am too smitten with the look, overall function, and fit of the Skyracer series.

Now I have to go use my miniature iron to press a shirt before I hop into my miniature sports car to check on my Hotel empire.
