I used to be of the opinion there wasn't a market for fake vintage Breitling ladies watches but have started to have doubts now that I've seen a few. This guy listed this one a few weeks ago and it didn't sell. I was curious about it until I called the guy and he told me he got it from a supplier in South America. There are a lot of variations with ladies watches but the reference numbers and serial numbers remain constant as to format. Variations like this one are best avoided.

I've never seen a case quite like that either Paul, but you know a lot more about ladies pieces than I do, is it consistent with a real model?

The reference number isn't consistant with enything Breitling and he told me there wasn't a serial number inside the back. Everything I have in the line of vintage ladies watches have reference numbers that are in the Richter book and serial numbers too.

Yeah, I knew the caseback was wrong, was just wondering about the case shape. The only reason that I asked was because you had said that you were initially interested and to me the front on shot would have put me off as I didn't recognise the shape as Breitling.
