I'm a bit of a purist and while I like some of the aftermarket straps, I stick with OEM always.

Panerai has a beautiful selection to fit almost any taste - be it dressy, casual, rustic, etc. My PAM358 is supposed to arrive today. The dealer said he was throwing in a "vintage-style" strap. I don't know that it's going to appeal to me and I understand this is common for Panerai dealers to do as they do not discount.

That being said, it's too bad the OP is in Scotland - otherwise, I'd be happy to swap or offer at a decent discount. I like the strap that comes with the PAM358 because it's "different," but I think I'll probably want a dark brown alligator strap to wear more regularly and I'll be shocked if I like the vintage strap that he throws in...I believe he said it would be tan or golden in color and that does not appeal to me.

To each his own, though :)
