In my opinion, breitling watch is so expensive that only very few people have enough money cost on this watch, and i'm with no exception!

But now as more and more people wear brand watches, i begin to find my idea is wrong and i also can own my rolex watch!

So have you ever own a breitling swiss watch or other swiss watch?

Save up a little and it could be in reach.

Pre-owned (loved) could save big money, up to 50% off.

You can have a Breitling from about $1200, the more recent models from about $2500.

Same at Rolex.

Definitely agree with the pre-owned route. You can save a lot off of the original price and if your patient you can probably find exactly what you want. The "buy/sell" forum on here is a great place to find your watch as well as get an idea of the prices of different watches. Don't be afraid to ask the seller a lot of questions and ask for a lot of pictures. If you have any doubts as to the authenticity of the watch, just post up a couple of pictures in the "Replica Identification" Forum, someone will let you know. Good luck with finding the Breitling that's right for you.

Rolex makes about 1 million watches a year. Breitling submitted ~ 300,000 watches for COSC certification in 2008. There are more than a few of these watches floating around. They are still a luxory for sure, but there's a large group of people willing to spend the money.

I'd echo the others' comments and say that buying vintage and/or pre-owned is a great way to get into higher end timepieces.

I never say never but...

I don't think I will ever buy retail again...

Do your homework and you can buy a great watch at a great price.

This forum is a fantastic place to do research.

Good luck!!!

Umm . . . not everyone. Some of us here aspire to own one fine watch and want to make the best buying decisions possible.
