Anyone heard of them? I found a nice looking white dial chronograph (Valjoux 7750) for under $500.

I've heard of a company called Charleston Watch Company, but they don't make watches - they are a restorer / service centre that sells vintage pieces.

Here is the watch in question. It looks really nice but I am concerned about the lack of information regarding the manufacturer of this watch.

It's a low grade 7750 movement and the rotor says BTC - no idea what it's supposed to be, but I wouldn't go near it. Look at the quality (or lack of it) of the dial - the numbers aren't crisp at all.
