If anyone wants an Omega, call George. They just started carrying Omega last week.

Interesting update, thanks, was always wondering why Govberg didn't sell Omega. Just had an Omega AD dropped in my area recently - think there are three left.

So I have been looking at getting a speedy and I decided to check out the Omega forum on another WIS site.

That being....I was not impressed with the discussions I read. There just didn't seem to be the camaraderie I have found on this site. there was lots of infighting (ex. "my watch is better than yours" and "that is a girls watch" type comments).

Got me thinking...It seems that the Breitling owners really enjoyed the hobby, and Omega owners were more interested in THEIR watch.

Maybe I should get with George, and just bypass the Omega community for my purchase

As I've said before, he's a great guy to work with. Even though I wound up getting a watch from somewhere else, he responded very quickly to my questions and wasn't pushy at all. I'll definitely be calling him again when it's time for my next watch. Thanks Justin.

When I asked about this awhile back, there was already a Panerai dealer in Philadelphia so I don't if Panerai decided not to add another AD or what. I'm not sure if this is still the case. There are ways to work with George to buy a Panerai, but it's just as easy to find an actual Panerai AD since I'm not sure what they would be priced at. I know they have a couple jewelers they work with but I'm not sure on the selection.

I was surprised they didn't carry Omega as well, but now that they're moving into their new larger location, maybe that was the deciding factor Omega needed to let them carry their product.

I honestly have no idea what their selection is or how many Omegas they're stocking now, but if you want a brand new one, you should give him a call. Shoot me a PM if you want his direct contact info.
