Great looking piece!!!!!! I really like the black version as it makes the overall face look larger. :D

I was speaking with my friend last night and he works in a Breitling AD and he was saying they have 8 on order and six are already sold. He has not yet seen one in the flesh as the first one they got in was sold within the hour!

His boss however saw it in baselworld and says its almost 3D looking inside the dial. I know that that sounds really stupid as its a 3D object but I think you get what I mean....... Does this feature an in house movement and is it manufactured in the new Breitling factory?

In response to anybody asking about the rubber fading... ive had mine a couple of months now and there is zero fading.

BTW, the black looks awesome. I was debating black or yellow, and ultimately went with yellow, but I dont think you can go wrong either way.

Congrats on the new piece, Murphy!

BTW, I don't know what happened to me -- maybe it's the +35 Celsius weather out here :shock: --, but I'm warming up for the SO II. When it was announced, I assumed I'd prefer the yellow rehaut version (+ bracelet) over any other. But now that pictures and wrist shots started to appear in volume, I seem to like the black rehaut on black rubber strap version best. Maybe it's because a light coloured rehaut makes the dial look smaller; while the black rehaut makes the dial + rehaut + bezel "melt together" and mask the fact that the dial is a bit smaller than what I'd normally like.

Yep... straight from the AD.
Special Black hangtag ones have Patek Philipe movements in them

The rehaute is at a very shallow angle, so it gives a deep look. Deffo makes it look bigger than the coloured versions.

Thanks for the pictures. Haven't seen it on the bracelet. I'm going to Tourneau after work to see if it's still as sexy in person as in the pictures. :)
