I purchased the new 2010 Superocean black on black ocean racer strap 1 month ago to date ,and my Ad was told they do not know when it will come in , was told 1 month by my ad when purchased. My question is how much longer of a wait can I expect ,and Would calling Breitling USA BE ANY HELP? My wrist has grown tired of the G Shock I am wearing.

BUSA can probably tell you what the wait time will be, but it won't make it any quicker. The delay at this time of year is due to the fact that Breitling SA shuts down for several weeks in the summer so if the watch isn't available at BUSA then there is a longer wait to get it from Switzerland.

George has told me that BUSA has told them they do not know when the new Supercean Abyss black models will ship.

I think I may be canceling my order ,and getting a white SA. This is torture . I really want to know why they have been advertising the watch allover their site for the past month or 2 ,and its not even been released yet

It has been released, there are members who already have theirs.

You wont be sorry with a white SA. Trust me!

However, dont settle for something that isnt your true "want." Even though the wait is terrible it will be that much sweeter when you get it.

Just my two cents.

Could be true ... but some members did show theirs

This is what my AD told me : since the start of the crisis Breitling dropped production about 30% to avoid overstock and to create a certain demand for their products. Besides by doing this, they don't need to drop their prices since most AD in Belgium don't offer great discounts anyway. Sad but I guess all of this is true.

So you got two options : wheter you stick to your first love and wait until you can get it or you order yourself something else which you might regret afterwards. I personally didn't cause the B01 was my first love but the price looked to high for me ... Difficult choice to be made

I saw a black on black new SO II on rubber strap in Munchen (Germany) 2 weeks ago, and the same watch at my local (Hungarian) AD 2 days ago. So it's definitely out there, and AD's can order them. Maybe shipping them overseas causes all the delays, but IMHO it should be on its way already.

I really wanted the SA but settled on the Superocean because of it being what I could spend at the time, however with me waiting ,and this lovely site has changed my mind :D. I will call BUSA and see what the expected wait time is on SO and if its outlandish I am going with the SA. I sure hope the Sa is in stock
