Just got my first Breitling from mfserge. 5 month old Blackbird, I've wanted one of these for a while. Thanks Sergio. Better pics are to come.

I do have a quick question. I'm not going to be able to wear it for about 5 months. I've read that leaving a watch sitting without running for an extended period of time can cause the grease or oil or whatever is in the watch to get messed up. Can this happen in five months, should I get a watch winder? I'm going to be wearing it everyday after I get home.

Thanks guys and thanks to everyone on BreitlingSource for helping me make an educated decision in finding the perfect watch. :lingsrock:

The oils can move slighty, the best thing to do is to leave the movement flat (i.e. watch on its back). If you can wind it once a month or so it will help to keep things moving, but no need for a winder.

Congrats on the new piece!

Don't worry about a winder, if you can wind it every once in a while then great, if not, no big deal.

Close, Iraq. It's kinda like prison, just without the man-love.

Hell, I've been thinking about #2 since before I bought #1. If you really miss it that much you can have it back for your brushed BEB :poke: Just kidding, I don't think I'll ever get rid of this one.
