The issue has been resolved, read my latest post for more info.

Just a quick follow up on my previous thread, it seems that the latch has malfunctioned on my box and some investigation has shown that this is not a rare occurance. If you mainly store smaller and less thick watches you should be fine, but since I have some 47mm and fairly thick watches that has proved problematic. I will report back once the issue has been resolved, or not.

Hi there Altair,
I was wondering which model you are refering too or does this affect all of his boxes as i have ordered myn about a week ago.
I oredred the 6 seater in real wood finish, as i have a few bigger ones i want to travel with.

It's a shame to hear that Altair, I hope it works out!

Rainer got back to me and showed me how to fix the problem. Apparently the clasp is designed for micro adjustment, I turned the upper latch clock wise and the box now allows for thicker watches. Counter clockwise would close the watch down tighter. Fantastic attention to detail! Works great now, even better than when it was new due to the micro adjustment feature!
