Only through donations and publicising it's fate wherever possible. Cannot take any credit for the actual restoration which was done by professionals.

XH558 is the only surviving flying Vulcan and despite over £5m being raised, still seems to teeter on the edge. Another £1m had to be raised over the winter for more work which meant it almost wasn't ready for the start of the season. It's Permit to Fly was only granted on Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours before it displayed at Waddington.

I know you didn't do the restoration personally Sharkie but yours were among the many efforts put up to try and keep it flying, so I thought you deserved the credit of mentioning your personal efforts :bow:

Heck, planes like this is our undisputed heritage and they only come once in a lifetime :D
