Saw this watch at Tourneau in Vegas, they said are the only ones selling it and there were only 150 pieces made.... on the Breitling site it says 1000 pieces, are other dealers selling this watch? What kind of discount can one expect?

thanks!

tourneau was given their own set of 150 numbered watches, im not sure if the 150 are a portion of the 1000 pieces made for that edition or if tourneau was given theyre own sub series of the watch, wich I would assume becuase they are not numbered of 1000. you can expect to pay between 9.5-11k usd for that specific watch from torneau, havnt seen any selling private.

i love the dial on this watch but the lugs on it turn me off. i think that the price is reasonable considering the amount of pieces available. but i think that Breitling did a better job on the Le Mans IMO

I called around and couldn't find anyone else selling it... would be my first Breitling, just don't want to get hosed... my cousin has a few and he thought it would be easy to get 19-20% off, but it doesn't seem to be the case.....

yeah, im pretty sure that the carbons at tourneau are part of their own series and not part of the 1000 limited ed.
was looking at the same watch at a tourneau and the manager himself didnt have an answer for that.. and they dont offer much of a discount, only fair trade in value if trading another watch, wich works out for them when your paying full retail.

i dont think its possible to knock very much off of thes considering they are new and limited. unless you have a really GREAT relationship with your AD.

Other private dealers have them.. the average independent was told to expect it the first week of august, but I think some are starting to see them trickle in, in the next few weeks. Only the strongest retailing bentley dealers will be guaranteed one.

Check your PMs for an AD to work with, I'm positive they'll be getting 1 from Breitling

Depends on how much money you want to lose.

These LEs are not worth a premium in percentage terms over any other model resale. Sure they may be worth more in dollar terms, but that's because they cost more initially.

#1 may be worth slightly more, #150 may be worth a tiny premium, anything else is just a number.

Add to that the fact that Tourneau discounts suck and you should only buy it if you want to keep it, not as an investment.

The only Breitlings that I have seen selling for a premium recently was a brief blip on the BlackSteels when they were running out at ADs, and that didn't last. It was also a somewhat false premium - there were better prices at ADs for educated buyers.

agreed! but I actually really like the watch and would only buy it to wear, it really sucks that they put out the same watch in a different finish for thousands of dollars more becuase they make them "LE's" if wasnt for that title, im sure they would sell for less than the stainless models, just want a nice pvd/dlc/black steel breitling! is it too much to ask for one in a normal production model at normal cost!! :guns: :lingsrock:
