Just had a little play, feel free to use, last three are ones I did a while ago for the white baton dial SA, the Blacksteel SA and Blacksteel AS, would recommend that you copy the image and place on your own hosting area if possible.

Might be a good idea if we could collate them altogether somewhere?

I second that question

These originated way way back when the forum was just a few months old. Basically a "Full Ling" was described as a Breitling that was at least 46mm in diameter, had 24mm lugs, was on the bracelet, and was all polished. In other words the biggest, shiniest watches that Breitling make! I forget the "definition" of a 1/2 Ling but if memory serves it was something polished and on a bracelet but smaller than 46mm and with less than 24 mm lugs. I think a 3/4 Ling was something like a Motors T - ie a Full Ling in every way apart from being partly brushed.......or something like that!

It was all just a bit of fun and had no really meaning or seriousness attached to it. Personally I don't like the term "Ling" anyway so I never use it, but the whole Full/Half/3quarter Ling thing was no more than a bit of fun.

Wouldn't want to be you if Lingman reads that............

Those were fun days. It's great to see how the site has grown, but the days of only a few regular posters was also pretty cool.

Thanks. I've been reading posts on here for a couple of months and could never figure it out and I would have felt like a dumbass starting a thread just to ask about it.
