I originally became a member here due to the vast amounts of information and the very knowledgable members. In the process of learning more about our beloved Breitling I have also been exposed to a number of other awesome Watch brands. Thanks alot guys! Here I thought Breitling would be my one true love now it looks like my eyes are starting to wander and look at other brands, i know i know what can I say I am a watch SLUT hahaha.

Two watches as of late that are really catching my attention are the IWC Big Ingenieur and the Zenith Chronomaster Open Grand date. I just cant seem to stop looking at pictures of these two. Do any member have pictures that they could post of their watches if you own them?

In the First photo the case actually looks black....and I think that would look great. Do they make it in a black finish?

No. Black dial, but only regular steel and gold cases. There are black cased Port Royals, but not Chronomasters.

Roff, I didn't know you had a Zenith Chronomaster! I think you posted that review right before I joined the forum. In any case, I'm interested in adding either the XXT Open or the XXT Grande Date to my collection. I got to see the XXT Open while I was in Vegas this past weekend. It's a really beautiful piece, but I don't like the fact it doesn't have a date. Unfortunately, the AD only had it with a silver dial; I'm more partial to the black dial. My issue with the Grande Date is that the dial looks slightly too busy for me . . . so I'm not sure what I want now. Regardless, I'm glad I got to see your pictures. Since I don't have a Zenith AD close to me, it's nice to see what the watch looks like outside the standard marketing pics.

I don't find the dial to be busy. As I said in the review the hands can 'disappear' at times, butthat's more contrast with the silver dial. I certainly have watches with much busier dials.
