Hi there...right if i explain what has happened, about 2years ago i was burgled and amongst things that were taken was my breitling crosswind...exactly the same as pictured below....it was insured,so i recieved vouchers to purchase a new watch which i did,now over the weekend i had a phone call from the police saying that they have recovered the watch due to the burglar being caught and asking for other offences to be taken into consideration..he still had the watch..etc etc...anyway i have phoned the insurance company who have said that i can keep the watch...so my questions are is how much do you think its worth..its still in excellent condition...but dont have the box or papers anymore as the insurance company had those 2 years ago..or if anybodys interested in a trade for another breitling let me know...will get the watch authenticated and papers to prove...thanks in advance..

Naths,

Go in to see Derek in Clifton. He can authenticate it for you so that you can sell it on the sales forum, or he may buy it from you, or Part Ex.

from sunny Bath.

This one is on Chrono24 for 1,690 Euros - http://www.chrono24.com/en/search/index ... =breitling crosswind&numresults=32

That's a dealer asking price so selling price will likely be lower.

Pilot will definitely increase the value.

Derek is a good man and a real Breitling nut.

As I said I am in Bath, if you fancy a beer half way some day next week give me a shout.
