Okay so does anyone have any pictures of any breitlings on this size (or close to) wrist? I am in the hunt for a ling and I am curious as to what one would potentially look like on my puny wrist.

......or does anyone know which lings looks best on smaller wrists? Im looking for a chunky watch, but obviously something like an SA would be HUGGGEEE on me. how about a steelfish or a chronomat? Would a seawolf be pushing it?

you should go for a chrono super ocean 42mm case will look huge in those girly wrists hehehe
you should not go for any higher than 42/43mm

Here is is my Navi World on 6 3/4 wrist. It is large but wears well....I would try on a few models at a AD to see what fits you best. I think you will be pleasently suprised that some of the largest Breitling's wear suprisingly well despite their large measurements. I never thought I could pull off a Super Avenger because of what the measurements are as compared to my wrist size but I liked the way it looked and felt it did not look out of place. On the flipside I cannot count how many times I saw a watch online and was sorely dissapointed when I tried it on in person. Go out and try some on and see what you like....

Steelfish looks great too. Almost anything up to 46 does the trick for me. I tried Navi World and Superocean Heritage 46 and they both looked great!

As I found out recently, I have about a 6 3/4" wrist.

I have roughly the same wrist size (maybe a bit less), depending on the time of the day. The Colt is by far the most comfortable watch I own, and it probably looks the "most normal" on me, since it's not oversized for my wrist. But I love how the B-1 and the Chrono-Matic looks.

A bit of insider info: I took the first pic a year ago, while the second one is quite recent. Between the two pictures I've lost 20 kg's (44 lbs), and that made my wrist to get even skinnier than before. That's why the roughly same diameter Chrono-Matic looks larger on me than the B-1, even though the Chrono-Matic has shorter lug-to-lug distance.

A personal note: it's not only the diameter that makes me stay away from larger (45mm and more) watches, but also their thickness. The Avenger models are notoriously thick, and I never even wanted to try them on. They wouldn't look right on me IMHO. As for the Steelfish and the Blackbird, I can pull them off size-wise, but they're quite heavy on bracelet. On Ocean Racer they would be perfect for me.

I have a 6 1/5 inch wrist. I like big bad boys and the largest I can go is the Avenger Skyland I have. It fits perfectly. The Aeromarine range has a case that wraps around your wrist, so you can go quite big.

I love the white dial SA, but unfortunetaly it looks like a UFO landed on my wrist. I´ve tried it several times but just can´t pull it of. The dial is so big that the curve of the case doesn´t "hug" my wrist anymore and it just looks completaly off.

If you like a substantial sized "chunky" pieces but doesn´t look out of place, the Seawolf and Steelfish should be great, the Avenger too. The Chronomat doesn´t have the same wrap around type of case, but the size is just perfect for me nontheless. If you like something that wears smaller and maybe looks a little more subtle then, like others already said, the SOC is great, but Colts too.

i have around 6 3/4". wrist is kind of round and not bony, so not alot of flat surface area where the watch would sit. i'm not going to wear anything above 44mm anymore....look ridiculous and i'm stretching it at 44mm imo. a 42mm watch with minimal bezel and around 14mm thick is my sweet spot.

Here comes my $.02;

I've been in the 'big watch' trend for a while and used to regularly attend risti GTG's when I had more time on my hands. My observation is that tape measurement wrist size vs watch size in mm's means nothing. Too much importance is given to wrist shots, when in the real world people are looking at your whole arm/body.

I think it has more to do with body size. A short stocky guy with 6.25in wrists will look better and can pull off a SA more easily than compared to a tall lanky guy with 7in wrists. The reason being, the smaller wrist stocky guy will have a larger forearm that balances and holds the watch better compared to the larger wrist skinny guy whose forearm is the same size as his wrist.

Secondly, bone structure and formation of the wrist is also important. I know a Vegas risti who has an all bone, 6.5in flat wrist. He could use it as a rest for his coffee cup and makes base luminors look perfect. The same size wrist from a 'hefty' guy who has a much rounder wrist usually does not wear larger watches as easily as they tend to hang over the side.

Lastly, enough with the size of watches and wrists. All that matters is that you like how it looks and feels on your wrist. If you are self conscience about the size, it will show and look stupid to others. If you wear it with confidence and don't care what others think, then you can pull off whatever you want

I agree with mboverst. I was always concerned about the size of the watch because I have a small wrist as well. I bought a BB on Ocean Racer (diameter of 43.7) and thought I was not able to go any bigger. In the next few months I plan on buying an Avenger on leather (diameter of 45.4). I have also noticed that the SS bands wear bigger as well.

The only way to really know how a watch will look on YOUR wrist is to try it on. Like you, I have an exceptionally small wrist (6 3/8"), but feel very comfortable wearing my B01. The other day, I tried on a Navi World (46mm) and I think I could pull that off too. However, the white dial World looks much larger than the black dial, even though they're the same case. Thus, if you find a watch you like, but feel it wears a little too big, you may want to try different dial colors.

I have 6.5" wrist and I regularly wear 42mm+ watches. I think the Airwolf (43.5mm diameter/16.5mm thick) looks and feel fine on my wrist but it's probably the maximum thickness as I'd want to wear. I think the SuperOcean (42mm diameter/15mm thick) is the perfect size for my wrist.

mboverst that is a great point. Forearm size as compared to wrist size as well as flat or roundness really is what makes the difference. Personally I have flat small wrists and large forearms for my size 6' 200lbs so a larger watch does not look out of place. It all comes down to trying the watch on and feeling comfortable with it. I know quite a few friends that purchased watches because the wanted them to fit, but in the end were not comfortable and the sit at home more often than not. I dont know about anyone else but if Im spend big bucks on a watch I want to wear it as much as possible.
