Well yes, but he also scored against England using his hand, and that's something that will never be forgiven.

As Henry's hand won't either :x

It is Hublot since JC Biver made one after him. He must show it off someplace.

[quote="Altair"]I think it is interesting that everyone who is insulting Maradona in this thread is from the UK

England to be more precise, for me he's arguably the best player the world has seen! :D

Cheers

Yes, it's really classy to head-butt yourself out of your final game. ;)

Back on topic, I believe Maradona got the idea from Castro. As far as I've read they're on friendly terms.

Didn't know that head-butting was part of the rules :) 'cause he did it more than once in his career, even though the one during the final is the one to be remembered :guns: It may be not cheating per se but it tells a lot on the guy  A perfect example for the new generation :uplaugh:

I do not excuse the Materazzi behavior either but whatever the reason, he should 've controlled himself:!:

Otherwise, every time a game doesn't go your way, you start head butting people  It's nothing more than ball-game for chrissakes!

As the great Bill Shankly once said...

“Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more important than that.”

To misquote Bill Shankly ""Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."
