:) I may be telling "Old tricks to old dogs" ( or should that be the other way round) But I have had a number of Breitlings with bracelets or deployants and find that the worst area to get scratched or marked is the Clasp. My solution has been to carefully apply a strip of "Ultra Clear Sellotape" over the clasp leaving a small portion each end to fold under.
This takes a bit of practice and a few swear words at first, but it is possible to get a smooth finish and certainly goes a long way in protecting that area without being really noticeable. Have used this method on steel and titanium and the sellotape can last a month or so before renewing.
