Incredible that Sweden is cheaper than Britain!

Yes, living in Europe surely makes US complaints on gas look surreal.

C$1.05 here in central Ontario - equivalent to $4 a US gallon, $4.40 an imperial gallon.

Diesel's still a bit higher because it's still fuel oil season, but will drop lower when the wether warms up.

I'm thinking it was just over $3/gallon when I filled up last weekend.
My wife's car requires premium so that's about 15% more.

We got to San Francisco fairly regularly to see my brother in law. He's usually paying at least 25% more than we do. Plus his cars will only run off premium. We've paid more than $4/gallon on occassions out there.

Jeez, what's this strange alien concept you're talking about here Roff??? For a second there I though you were saying that fuel prices have been known to DROP!?!?? Eh? What does that mean??? Are you telling me that the world won't actually collapse in on itself if fuel prices don't continously rise at an alarming and non-inflationary rate???

Since moving to the US 2 1/2yrs ago I've been surprised at how much the price of fuel fluctuates. Where I live I've paid anywhere from $1.80 to $3.30/gallon!

Compared to Britain where it just creeps up and up...At Xmas I was back in England with my mother and father-in-law. They were stunned it cost us $130 to fill up a Mercedes E Class!

And the best bit is that if you are classed as a farm you can buy 'farm diesel' - basically the same as regular diesel with a dye added and the duty removed

Unfortunately the only thing that I own that will run on diesel is a tractor.

$3.20 per gallon here in Western Arkansas, Eastern Oklahoma.

91 Octane is $3.40. Luckily, I've not had to fill the Corvette up yet. It's still on the tank my dealership paid for!

Brain -- Were you able to negotiate with the sales guy, to get a full tank of gas with every complimentary oil change?

I'm guessing no, since you already received a HUGH discount on the purchase!
