I am getting the new Superocean as a wedding present and went today to check it out. Both "authorized dealers" I went to said they haven't even seen it yet themselves and had no idea when they would be getting it, but I've seen photos of people who have it and it's all over the Breitling website.....this seems odd to me. Is it in stores now? Where should I look?....It's my first Breitling experience.

Is there any rhyme or reason to who gets them first or is my best bet just to call or go to as many stores as I can and check? What about ordering online? Is this a legit way to buy a watch like this?

It's down to what stores order. The national distributor will also prioritise for the stores with the biggest volume. Best bet is to call the ADs and start with the large ones. In the US, BUSA may be able to tell you which stores in your area have them, I'm not sure.

There are no ADs selling online - they aren't allowed. Online sellers are all grey market and offer no Breitling warranty. I also very much doubt that any of the online stores will have any of the new SuperOcean IIs for another year or so.

BUSA can tell you which dealers in your area have them. I emailed them about a specific Avenger I wanted, and they gave me a list of all the models available by dealer within 50 miles of my house. :cheer: Good luck!!

Find a competent AD and ask them to order you one. If they are any good they should be able to get you one within a few weeks. If you want one right away, you just have to call around or try the BUSA route.

I've been told by Govberg that the the Abyss Black dial is not shipping from BUSA just yet. I'm not sure about all the other colors.
