It doesn't look fake to me.

This one has really confused a lot of people, some say fake and others can not tell without seeing it in the flesh so to speak. I will know 100% by the end of the week

Great pickup if it's real, Taffy. I'd love to have a red Sub.

I'm a Rolex convert too.

Breitlings are mostly bought because you actually like the product, so they´re bought for yourself.

I'll have to admit one reason I haven't bought a Rolex is because it's so popular and considered by many for the wrong reasons to be oh so chic.

That said, it is hard for me to imagine that most Breitling owners don't buy with secondary attention garnering in mind. Come on, walking in a public place with a brand new Ling on you wrist garners the same "feel" as driving down the street in that brand new car. You mean you have never subtly "hiked" the long sleeve on your left arm at just the right moment to bare your new watch??

Be honest - it's O-K-A-Y. :)

I usually forget completely I´m wearing the thing. It´s just so comfortable on the wrist. But now that it´s OK  I´ve shown my watch to a few friends, as I´m very pleased and proud how good it looks. Few random guys has noticed the AS too. The comments are always the same: "That´s a beautiful watch!" with added hype: "Looks very solid, stylish, brutal, cool etc..."

Now... My friend has a Rolex Submariner and when people notice it, the reaction is always: Nice Rolex. No comments or discussions on the piece itself. (his always pissed of the attention my watch gets compared to his! )

...And hey Sharkman, wanting to buy a Rolex... That too is O-K-A-Y!

Rebel I agree with you on the older Rolex sport models... The bracelets and clasps were not made to the same standards of a Breitling. However, Rolex has come a long way on their bracelets and clasps. Now the only issue I have is the size, other than the Deep Sea which I like a great deal.

Of all the older Rolex sport models I love my 1979 Pepsi GMT the best!
