A lot of great info on determining a fake Breitling but anyone have any tips, sites, etc...to add in learning how to determine fake Montblancs? Looking at one that's just too good to be true but the guy swears it's authentic. Any help? Thanks loads.

They make a very GOOD Timewalker fake, especially the Timewalker GMT. Really good. Be afraid.

:roll: That's what I'm afraid of...not too many distinguishing characteristics to tell if fake. Here's a picture of it but the detail is not very good. From the price alone it is suspect...but, hey, you would be surprised at what people don't know or are motivated to sell. Thanks for the help,

The decent fake sells for about $300, the real lists for $4400. It’s too good to be true. The first link is to a replica listing. The second to Montblanc’s website for this watch. I think the pic on your link is a copy/paste job as well.

I don't believe in coincidences. The watch is listed for less than 1/10th of retial which is exactly what the fake costs.
