Hmmm.

Not my cup of tea, and the bezel looks very busy to me with the diamonds and the font.

I'm not a diamond guy, but the all diamond bezels look 'cleaner' to me.

I dont see an all diamond bezel..Am I missing something or are you reffering to the "past" Chronomat with all diamond bezels that you can get?

The regular diamond bezel B01 that has been available since the B01 was launched.

I received an email from Breitling this morning about this. This new diamond encrusted B01 looks AWFUL. Instead of developing diamond watches for rappers, maybe they should start working on putting the B01 movement in a Navitimer. Slapping the B01 bezel on half of their 2010 offerings was bad enough, but this is just terrible. Does anyone want to buy a Sierra Silver B01? I'm not sure I can wear it anymore . . .

Also, in the article Breitling refers to the watch as "Chronomat 01" and the movement as "Caliber 01." Any idea why this is? Did the marketing guys forget to put the "B" in front of the "01"?

I noticed that too, but I don't think that there is too much to read into it. All Breitling calibers are names Bxx, but generally referred to by just the number so I suspect that this is just being consistent with that.

If that's the case, I wonder why they had the "B" in the name at all? I suppose it's just par for the course for Breitling as of late.
