Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a Breitling Crosswind mother of pearl face 2004, all though I know nothing about the price guide of such a item.

The watch was made in 2004 and has diamond bezel around the face, dose anyone know how much i should be paying for such an item and would this be a good choice of watch (I think it's great but is there a lot of call for these watches)

If any one can help it would be much appreciated.

Kindest regards

Your best bet would be to check out eBay (both live and completed listings) and dedicated watch sales sites like Chrono24.com. Those will certainly give you ball-park figures and allow you to decide if you are getting a good deal or not.

I would certainly do what D8 suggests but here's a couple for starters.

One of the site's sponsors has a Crosswind + diamonds bezel at £3595. Not MOP dial though.

And a member of this site picked up a MOP Crosswind (no diamonds) last year for $2000.

Not much use to help you determine how much you should be paying but an indication that a watch is worth only what someone is willing to pay at that moment in time.

The Crosswind is a great watch and was a sort of deluxe Chronomat. I'm not a fan of diamonds personally but there's plenty on here who are. If you like them, go for it!
